Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 July 2026
Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Einat and Rally, the founders operating Skooper as individuals in Israel ("Skooper", "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can use Skooper
You must be able to form a binding contract and use the service for genuine academic purposes. Each account has a single role (student or supervisor); to use the other role, create a separate account with a different email.
Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or impersonating information.
- Harass, abuse, or spam other users.
- Misuse information you access on the platform — including other users' contact details, CVs, or messages — for anything other than the intended academic purpose.
- Scrape, copy, or harvest data, or attempt to disrupt or break the security of the service.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you provide (profile, CV, cover letters, messages). You grant us the permission needed to store and display it to the relevant users so the service can work. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you post.
Matching is a guide, not a guarantee
The Match Score and recommendations are automated suggestions to help you find relevant people and opportunities. We don't guarantee any match, reply, acceptance, placement, funding, or outcome. Skooper is a platform to help people connect; we are not a party to any arrangement, agreement, or supervision between users.
AI features
The optional AI auto-fill may return inaccurate or incomplete information. Always review and correct it before saving. You are responsible for what appears on your profile.
No professional advice
Skooper does not provide academic, career, legal, or financial advice. Decisions you make based on the service are your own.
Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We're an early-stage product and don't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change or discontinue features.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm other users or the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skooper is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for outcomes arising from interactions between users. [Your lawyer should tailor this section to your jurisdiction.]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Israel.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date above; continued use means you accept the changes.
